Fayetteville, Ark. - The men's track and field team made their return to the indoor track as they competed at the Arkansas invite today. Competing against many Division I athletes, numerous Bearcat men hit personal records on the day.
They not only performed well but showed off some impressive PRs, letting the competition know that they are just getting started. These notable performances come from across the board on the men's side include: Troy Davidson ran 4:19 in the men's mile, also in the men's mile; Luke Urban ran 4:29. In the men's 60 meter dash qualifier, Andrew Rhoades ran a 7:36. Later in the night, Luke Urban ran 8:59 in the men's 3K and Trevor Maxville ran a 9:02 in the men's 3K as well.Â
Southwest Baptist will return next Friday as they split up at two different events. Part of the team will go to Warrensburg, Missouri to compete at the UCM invite. The other part will travel to Pittsburg, Kansas to compete at the Rumble in the Jungle.
