Fayetteville, AR – The SBU Men's Cross-Country team traveled to Fayetteville, AK to run in the Chile Pepper XC Festival. The Bearcats would have an impressive day as they would secure 2nd place. 

The Bearcats finished with 71 points, just 6 points away from the first-place team and 72 points away from the third-place team. Junior Trevor Maxville would lead the Bearcats with a 3rd place finish and a time of 25:52. Fellow junior, Joe Kremp would finish 13th while sophomore Luke Urban would cross just 20 seconds later to finish in 22nd. 

Southwest Baptist will be back in action next weekend as they head to Columbia, Mo to compete in the Brian T. Simpson Invite on Saturday October 7th.
