Joplin, Mo. - The men's cross-country team competed at the MSSU Stampede at Missouri Southern this evening. The Bearcats took 12th place at the meet. 

Junior Trevor Maxville led the way for the Bearcats finishing in 35th place. Another junior Joe Kremp was next for the Bearcats in 83rd place, with freshman Jack Leeds just behind him in 85th. Luke Urban and Gavin Duchscherer finished out the scoring for SBU. 

Southwest Baptist will compete again in two weeks when they travel to Arkansas when they compete at the Chili Pepper Festival. This race takes place in Arkansas on September 29th.
