Bolivar, Mo- The SBU Athletics department is currently looking for Administrative Graduate Assistants for the 2023-24 school year. Full details about the position can be found below.

Job Description: Southwest Baptist University is an NCAA Division II program and a full-time member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Southwest Baptist University Athletics Administrative Graduate Assistant will work alongside the SBU Athletics Administrative team helping with various tasks. Weekend and night work is required.  
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with Operations for 17 Varsity sports; Gameday setup, in-game work, tear down.
• Provide administrative support to SBU's Administration team.
• Assisting Director of Media Relations with Media Tasks.
• Assist in networking and building relationships with alumni/donors.
• Organize/clean and operate concession stand for SBU sports and outside events.
• Assist Administrative team in various office tasks.
• Other tasks assigned by the SBU Athletic Administration team.

 
Qualifications/Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required with the interest in pursuing a graduate level degree at Southwest Baptist University. Basic knowledge and understanding of sports.
 
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in collegiate athletics operations or any other athletics field.

Compensation: The appointment carries tuition for 12 hours of graduate classes over two semesters plus a stipend of $7,500.00 over the academic year.
