Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Wichita Falls, Tx. – The SBU women's tennis team continued their trip in Texas today as they took on Lubbock Christian and Southeastern Oklahoma. The Bearcats swept the day winning both games moving to 3-5 on the season.
 
Game 1 vs Lubbock Christian: Win, 4-2
SBU lost in the doubles point but were able to pick up 4 out of the five singles matches played to claim victory. Polina Paunova won her match in only two sets in the #4 spot, 6-4 & 7-6. Elsa Pasual in #3 spot and Lola Cincunegui in the #5 spot won both of their games in three sets. In the #1 spot Paula Ballesteros won the first set 7-5 then her opponent retired giving SBU the win.
 
Game 2 vs Southeastern Oklahoma: Win, 4-3
Bearcats continued their strength in singles winning four out of the six games to win the match. Ballesteros won in the #1 spot 2-6, 6-3, and 6-3. Pascual won her second game of the day in the #3 spot 7-6 & 6-0. Cincunegui and Leticia Luiz each won their games through three sets in the #5 and #6 spot respectively.
 
The ladies will return to action tomorrow as they wrap up their time in Texas against Cameron University.
