St. Charles, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team took on McKendree University in the semifinals of the GLVC conference tournament this afternoon. SBU fell to McKendree 67-87, moving to 20-10 on the season.
 
Ten different Bearcats scored on the game with RJ Crawford leading the way with 10. In potentially their final game in a Bearcat uniform both Quinn Nelson and Mitch Ganote scored seven points. Ganote tagged along three rebounds, six assists, and three steals.
 
SBU came into the conference tournament ranked 10^th in the region with the top-8 advancing to the regional tournament. On Thursday, they defeated the #8 team in Illinois-Springfield. With the fate now out of their hands the men will wait until the selection show tomorrow evening March 5^th. It is scheduled to begin at 10:00 PM on NCAA.com.
