Bolivar, Mo. - The SBU Women's Basketball team hosted the McKendree University Bearcats this Thursday for the battle of the Bearcats. The SBU Bearcats played a strong game, winning 78-66. This brings them to 12-11  (6-9 GLVC) on the season.
 
"I thought it was a really good team effort. We've been looking for secondary, and third line scores and I thought we had that today." Said Head Coach

The Southwest Baptist Bearcats put up strong numbers with Sophomore, 
Kelsey Blakemore scoring a career high 22 points. Sophomore, 
Emma Perry scored a total of 12 points. Junior 
Tori Hamilton had a double-double with a career high of 20 points and 11 rebounds. She also added five blocks to her season total for 38, putting her three blocks away from a SBU single season record.
  
The Bearcats will be back at home Saturday, February 11th at 1:00 pm to take on Maryville University.
