Baseball Finishes Weekend Against Lions

Joplin, Mo. - The SBU Baseball team finished off their weekend at Missouri Southern this afternoon. The Bearcats were unable to keep up with the Lions falling 2-12, moving them to 0-4 on the season. 


At the top of the seventh, sophomore Christian Carratala knocked in his first RBI of the season scoring freshman Cade Nickel, earning one run for the Bearcats. In the same inning, Tremayne Mungin recorded his second RBI of the season adding to the Bearcats score.
 
The SBU Baseball team will be back in action Saturday, February 11th as they travel to Harding University for a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 PM.
