Box Score Arkadelphia, Ark. – The SBU men's tennis team opened their season this evening against the #14 team in the Nation Ouachita Baptist. The Bearcats fell to the Tigers 2-5 moving to 0-1 on the season.
 
The Bearcats opened up the match winning the doubles point, with all three pairs winning. Makary Adamek and Marcio Silva defeated the #23 double team 7-5. The other two pairs of Youseff Nabil/Alavaro Nunez and Mikar Fisher/Ilyes Khelifi each won 6-2 and 6-3 respectively.
 
In singles, Alvaro Nunez was the only Bearcat to win a singles point in the four spot by a score of 6-1, 6-0. All other singles lost in two sets.
 
Southwest Baptist will return to action tomorrow as they take on Delta State University. The match will take place at OBU courts and is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.
