Indianapolis, Ind. – The SBU men's track and field team competed in day two of the GLVC Championship today. The Bearcats finished the championship in 7
th place with 30 total points.
"I am extremely proud of how our teams fought this weekend." Head Coach
Corey McElhaney said, "we showed a lot of heart in the way we competed but are still hungry to do better as a team. We will wait to see if we get a couple of people in nationals while the rest of the team will start focusing on the outdoor season."
Brayden Housh started the day moving up three spots in the heptathlon finishing in 4
th place today. He had a total of 4140 points and had his highest finish being in the pole vault where he finished 1
st.
Troy Davidson narrowly missed out on a top-3 finish in the 800-meter run where he finished in 4
th place just .36 seconds behind the 3
rd place finisher.
