Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's basketball team hosted the Illinois-Springfield Prairie Stars for Senior day this afternoon. The Bearcats controlled the game the entire way through winning 98-74. They end their season with a 13-15 (7-13 GLVC) record. The Bearcats were able to honor two SBU seniors in #2 Leikyn Walker and #13 Natalie Basham.
 
Leikyn played in 48 games across her two-year career in Bolivar scoring 195 total points. She was most known for her three-point shooting making 35 across her time here including a perfect 2-2 today. She will graduate this May with a degree in Psychology.
 
Natalie Basham dealt with injury across her four-year career but never wavered in her dedication to the team. She joined as a two-sport athlete both in basketball and track and field. Natalie played in 16 games across her career shooting an impressive 56% from beyond the arc. Natalie will graduate with a bachelor's degree in physical education this May.
