Box Score Indianapolis, Ind. – The SBU men's basketball team began conference play this evening in a trip to University of Indianapolis. The Bearcats fell to the Greyhounds by a final score of 50-67, moving them to 2-5 (0-1 GLVC) on the season.
 
Sophomore Drenin Dinkins led all Bearcats in scoring with 13 total points and led in rebounds with 5. Right behind him in scoring was Ayden Stone with 10 points shooting 66% from the field. Southwest Baptist did out rebound the Greyhounds 36-33 putting pressure on the glass.
 
SBU will finish their road trip out east as they head to Lewis University to take on the Flyers. The all-time series between these two programs are tied at 3 a piece, but the Bearcats have won the last two meetings. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm in Romeoville, Illinois.
