Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team hosted their longtime rival the Drury Panthers for the 64
th all-time meeting between these two programs The Bearcats controlled the entire game leading all the way through to a 82-67 victory. That win moves them to 14-6 (6-6 GLVC) on the season.

Quinn Nelson led the Bearcats with 15 points off 5-7 shooting and 3-4 from beyond the arc, while also pulling down 7 rebounds. Three of the young players had great performances with
Drew McMillin scoring 14 points off 5 field goals,
Noah Franklin scoring 12 with some big-time dunks, and
Drenin Dinkins had 13 points. Dinkins was a perfect 8-8 from the free throw line to move to 72-76 on the season for 94.7%. Senior
Mitch Ganote eclipsed the 500 rebound mark tonight with 10 rebounds and a near double-double with nine points.
The Bearcats will return to action next Thursday as they travel to Missouri St. Louis for a rematch against the Tritons. The Tritons handed the Bearcats their first loss of the season in early December with a 65-70 victory. UMSL is currently ranked 19
th in the nation. Tipoff for this game is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
