Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's basketball team returns home after a long and grueling three game road stretch. They host the Rockhurst Hawks this Thursday, January 19
th, in the Meyer Wellness Center with a scheduled tip off of 5:30 PM. This will be the 25
th matchup between these two programs with SBU leading 14-10.
They started out their long road trip picking up their first conference road win of the season defeating UIS. They then had two tight games against Quincy and Truman State, falling in both. There were 15 ties and 14 lead changes against the Bulldogs but they couldn't hold on against one of the top teams in the conference.

Claudia Vanzant is coming off her best game of the season recording her third double-double with a career high 16 points. Sophomore
Kelsey Blakemore is also getting into form scoring 46 points the last three games. Tori Hamilton still leads the team in rebounding with 105 total and is shooting 60%.
