Quincy, Ill. – The SBU men's basketball team looked for a bounce back win this afternoon as they took on Quincy University. There were 7 lead changes throughout the game but the Bearcats held on to an 81-79 victory. That win moves them to 12-4 (4-4 GLVC) on the season.
"Thought our guys competed for 40 minutes and thought we defended well." Head Coach
Clark Sheehy said. "Hopefully this will give our guys confidence for the upcoming games in league."

He now has 1,635 career points putting him in fourth place all-time scoring at SBU. Nelson shot 60% from the field and 78% from beyond the arc to go along with three rebounds, two assists, and a steal.
