Box Score Springfield, Ill. – The SBU men's basketball team looked to extend their winning streak as they traveled to the University of Illinois Springfield. The Bearcats fell in overtime on a buzzer beating put back by the Prairie Stars, 61-63.
 
Quinn Nelson and Noah Franklin led the team with points scoring 15 each. Franklin also recorded his second double-double of the season with 16 rebounds.
 
The Bearcats will return to action this Saturday as they travel to Quincy University to take on the Hawks. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
