Bolivar, Mo. -  The SBU head cheer coach Mandy Hancock announces the signing of Dalton Fox as the new BC the Bearcat mascot.
 
"We are so grateful to have Dalton joining our team. We are excited to see the energy, fun, and school spirit he can bring to events at SBU!" Hancock said.
 
Fox is a transfer from Hannibal-LaGrange University where he was the mascot for the Trojans. He is coming in as a Criminal Justice major and is originally from Bolivar, Missouri. Fox will begin making appearances as BC the Bearcat at the basketball games and many more.
 
"I am excited for the opportunity and blessing; the Lord moves in ways we don't see." Fox said.
