Box Score Kansas City, Mo. - The SBU volleyball team took a one game break from conference play today as they took on the Avila Eagles. The Bearcats cruised right past them winning the match 3-0. That moves them to 8-6 on the season.
The Bearcats won the first three sets by scores of 25-20, 25-23, and 25-19. Freshman
Katie Pogue led the way for SBU statistics wise recording the team's first triple-double of the season. She had 10 kills, 12 assists, and 10 digs.
"It was so much fun to be out on the court with the girls and be so confident with our play. It's so refreshing to play for each other and have fun while doing it." Said Pogue
The Bearcats will be back in action tomorrow as they travel down I-13 to take on their rivals Drury Panthers. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM.
