Bolivar, Mo. – SBU Alumni Mike McIntosh returns to SBU as the new Assistant Track and Field Coach. McIntosh will specialize in the throwing events such as Hammer, Shotput, Discus, and Javelin.

McIntosh comes back to SBU after being an Assistant track and field coach at Western Colorado University for 2 years. Previously, he was a graduate assistant at SBU for three years.
 
McIntosh was a hammer thrower for the Bearcats from 2013 to 2017. He finished in the top 10 at the MIAA Championships in 2016. He graduated with his Bachelor's degree in in Physical Education in 2017 and his Masters in Athletic Administration in 2020.
