Bolivar, Mo.- The SBU volleyball team is set to begin their 2022 season tomorrow August 26
th in the Eagle Classic hosted by Oklahoma Christian. Their first match will begin at 9:30am against Arkansas Tech University. Later that day they will take on Westminster College (Utah), then on Saturday they play the hosts Oklahoma Christian and old MIAA foe Fort Hays State.
"I am so excited for this season because we are returning all of our players and the spring season went really well for us." Sophomore

The Bearcats are led by third year head coach
James Hanger. He led the team to a 11-18 record in 2021, the most wins the program has had since 2013. Six of the 11 wins came in conference tying the most conference victories since 2013. The Bearcats head into this season with 15 returners and five new freshman.

Wins are clearly something we aim for but giving each day our best effort and to reflect Jesus to others are the top priorities we strive for."
