Bolivar, Mo.-  Head Men's Soccer Coach, Rick Daum, has informed Director of Athletics Clark Sheehy of his resignation to pursue other professional opportunities.
 
"We are thankful for Coach Rick Daum and his leadership to our men's soccer program.  We wish him great things in his next professional opportunity."- Sheehy said.
 
Daum has been leading the program over the last 4 years, including holding a big role in administration as the director of external operations. In the 2020-21 season, Daum led the Bearcats to their most wins since 2012 and their most conference wins since the program restarted in 2012.  
 
Southwest Baptist University Athletics has begun a Nationwide search to fill the head coaching position. Interested applicants should contact Sheehy at csheehy@sbuniv.edu, with the following information: (1) cover letter, (2) a resume, (3) a statement of faith, and (4) references.
