Lawrence, Kan. – The SBU track and field team finished their regular season meets today as they competed in the Rock Chalk Classic at Kansas University.
 
1^st Place:

• Lainy Williams: 800-meter (2:15.73)
• Troy Davidson: 800-meter (1:53.64)
• Amanda Berkstresser: 3000-meter Steeplechase (10:57.20)*

 
2^nd Place:

• Elysia Burgos: 800-meter invitational (2:09.87)*

 
3^rd Place:

• Brocklyn Barber: 800-meter (2:17.04)

 
4^th Place:

• Alexis Barber: 800-meter (2:17.40)
• Lily Simmons: High Jump (1.63)
• SBU Women: 4x100 (47.20)

The SBU track and field teams' next competition will be in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship. This team will get to compete in this Championship at home, as it is being hosted at SBU. The meet will start Thursday May 5^th and go until Saturday May 7^th.
