Bolivar, Mo- The SBU softball team finished their weekend road trip this afternoon, as they took on the University of Missouri-St. Louis Tritons. The Bearcats took the Tritons to extra innings in game one where they fell to a walk off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 8
th. The Bearcats kept close in game two but fell in the end. SBU moves to 6-24 (0-12 GLVC) on the season.

Hallie Henderson started on the mound in game one allowing 2 runs in the first then shutting down the Tritons in the 2
nd inning. After trailing in the first, the Bearcats scored four runs in the second to take the lead 4-2.
Rylee Lunn and Kaitlynn McConville each recorded RBI's in that inning.
Meadow Vassar and Lunn each led the team with two hits in the game.

Emma Wood pitched a no hitter through the first three innings in game two. The Tritons got their bats going in the 4
th pulling ahead for the win. The Bearcats struggled to get their bats going in game two falling by a final score of 0-11.

The Bearcats return home next weekend April 9
th as they take on the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds. First pitch is scheduled to begin at 12 PM.
