Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU Men's and Women's tennis teams are set to open up their postseason play in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament. Both team's will play their first round matches on Friday April 29^th in St. Louis, Mo. at the Dwight Davis Tennis Center on the campus of Maryville University.
 
The Bearcat women's team looks to hoist their first GLVC conference tournament trophy as they enter as the #1 seed from the West division. They will begin their first-round match at 2 P.M against the #4 seed from the East, the Maryville Saints. The Saints come into this tournament with a 4-2 conference record and a 9-6 overall record. The Bearcats come in with a perfect 6-0 conference record and a 13-7 overall record, winning their last 9 matches.
 
The Bearcat men's team is looking for their second straight GLVC tournament championship as they enter as the #2 seed from the West. They begin their first-round matchup against the #3 seed from the East, the Lewis Flyers. They Flyers come in with an overall record of 14-11 and a conference record of 4-2. The Bearcats enter with an overall record of 10-11 and a conference record of 4-1.
