"It's been a really slow start to the season for us…slower than I expected. I've got to do a better job of unlocking our guys potential in game settings whether it be through trying to give them confidence, practice preparation, adjustments or extra reps. For the previous ten years our teams and players have fought and worked so hard to make SBU baseball a respectable program. They have produced All-Americans, set numerous school records and won lots of games. Right now the results aren't acceptable and we will do everything in our power to turn this season around." - Coach Chris Martin
The Bearcats open up conference play on Friday, March 11 at home against Missouri S&T. Due to predicted weather, game day and times may be changed.
