Bolivar, Mo- The SBU Indoor Track and Field team had 5 individuals qualify for the Indoor Track and Field National Championship, set to take place March 11
th-12
th. Those individuals include
Zara Brown,
Britney Clark,
Collinique Farrington,
Elysia Burgos, and
Parker Love.

Sophomore
Zara Brown qualified for Nationals in the 60-meter dash, her second appearance. Her qualifying time came just this last weekend in the GLVC Championships where she ran a time of 7.47 seconds which is a school record. That time currently ranks 9
th out of 20, heading into Nationals.

Her teammate and Junior
Britney Clark also qualified for Nationals in the 60-meter dash, her 2
nd appearance. Clark tied her personal record and the previous school record, with a time of 7.53 seconds which she ran at the Pittsburg State Invitational. She is currently ranked 16
th, heading into Nationals.

Senior
Elysia Burgos is making her 4
th Indoor National Championship appearance; she has qualified for a variety of events, with this year's event being in the mile. Burgos qualified for a National appearance by hitting a time of 4:52.02 this past weekend at the GLVC Championships. That time has her ranked 18
th, heading into Nationals.

Freshman
Collinique Farrington will be making her first National Championship appearance as she qualified for the 200-meter dash. She ran a time of 24.35 at the GLVC Championships and is currently ranked 16
th on the qualifying list. Farrington was the only freshman woman to qualify for the 200-meter dash at Nationals this year.

Rounding it out for the Bearcats, is sophomore
Parker Love who will make his first Indoor National Championship appearance. He qualified for the 200-meter dash by running a time of 21.31 at the Crimson and Gold Invitational. Love is currently ranked 11
th heading into Nationals.

The Indoor Track and Field National Championship will take place in Pittsburg, Kansas.
