Rolla, Mo- The SBU softball returned to conference play this afternoon as they took on the Miners of Missouri S&T. The Bearcats had strong moments throughout the day but were unable to connect them together as they fell short in both games moving to 5-14 (0-4 GLVC).

"We had glimpses of our capacity as a team today, we made some really high-level plays defensively and had some really great pieces of offense. Unfortunately, we also had lapses in focus and execution on defense and offense as well. When we put it all together and play full games, we do very well. When we lose focus, we have the big inning we had in both games today. The team and its coaches know what we are of and are thankful we have another opportunity to play to our full potential tomorrow." -Head Coach

Margo Frossard had the team's lone RBI in the game off of a fielder's choice. SBU fell in game one, 2-10.
