Box Score Arkadelphia, Ark.- The SBU Men's tennis team finished up their road trip to Arkansas today where they took on #22 ITA Nationally ranked Southern Arkansas. Bearcats fell by a final score of 2-5, moving to 0-3 on the season.

In the doubles point, there were two close matches with
Alvaro Nunez and
David Szeri having to go to a tie breaker. Despite the close matches SBU was not able to prevail and lost the doubles point 0-3. In singles, both
Max Sanoja and Ilyes Khlifi picked up wins giving the Bearcats their lone two points.

"Overall, the matches were closer than it looked, we had our chances, but we were not able to take them. There is a lot to learn from and a lot of good things that we will take home with us" said Assistant coach
Joao Almeida.

The Bearcats will be back in action this Saturday February 12
th as they head to St. Louis to take on Washington University. The match is scheduled for 6:15 PM.
