Box Score 2 After a two week hiatus, softball traveled to Branson for a double header against Northwest Missouri State and Drury.
The Bearcats fell 7-0 against Northwest Missouri State in game one of the double header.
Emma Wood started on the mound, but the Northwest bats were too strong handle. Wood gave up two earned runs in 3 innings pitched.
Alissa Collette game in relief for Wood and pitched 4 strong innings giving up one earned run. At the plate,
Abby Henson and
Lauren Cook each recorded two hits while
Alyssa Reed and
Madison Coone recorded one hit a piece.Â
Unfortunately the Bearcat bats were unsuccessful in game two against Drury falling 7-1. On the mound for the Bearcats, Alyssa Collette received the start and did not give up an earned run in two innings.
Reilly Rupert came in for the third inning and gave up four earned runs in three innings.
Hallie Henderson pitched the 7th inning and gave up zero earned runs.
Kaitlyn Bagby was the most successful hitter of the game, getting two hits.
Kora Lowe, Meadow Vasser, and
Lauren Cook each recorded one hit for the Bearcats.Â
