Bolivar, Mo- The SBU Women's basketball team finished off their regular season against the Quincy Hawks this afternoon. Bearcats fell by a final score of 70-78 to move to 15-13 (10-10 GLVC.)

Bearcats trailed after the 1
st half, but fought all the way back to get within 4 points, but couldn't close the gap further.
Kyleigh Vaught scored a team high 21 points in the game.
Kelsey Blakemore was right behind her tying her career high with 17 points.

After the game, the Bearcats got to recognize and celebrate their 7 seniors. Those include Zoie Turner,
Rachel Tippens,
Nyah Pettus,
Brylee Graddy,
Gabriella Capasso,
Mary Rose Foster, and
Kyleigh Vaught.

"It's been such a fun year for us because the story line is we have a bunch of young players and young freshman and how many minutes they are playing and starting. But the backbone of this squad has been our senior leadership and we have had really steady seniors who have shown up in big moments for us and have been steady in the locker room, practice, and road trips.
