"I was proud of our guys for having a good focus. In the second half, I thought our defense knuckled down a little bit and we made them take some tough shots. We were 1 for 14 from three in the first half and we said at halftime, we know we are not going to do that again but we have to stay with our stuff and stay with our style and our system and I thought our guys did a good job with that." -Head Coach

Â
SBU also got to celebrate their 5 seniors this afternoon including

Juan Morales,
Tyler Williams, and
Quinn Nelson.
Â
"Tyler and Quinn came when we were struggling. We were trying to get it turned around and we were making strides but we were really struggling to get to .500. Every game was really hard and close and it was just tough. I can remember very vividly sitting with Quinn during the recruiting process and he said 'Coach I want to come help you build something. I could go to other programs that are already established but I'd really like to come and help you build it.' That's pretty special on the bench, when you can look at him and hug him and say we have done it."
Â
The Bearcats next game will be in the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament. The tournament bracket will be released later this evening.
