Box Score Bolivar, Mo- The SBU Women's basketball team played host to the Screaming Eagles of Southern Indiana this afternoon. The Bearcats fell by a final score of 48-70, moving to 13-11 (8-8 GLVC) on the season.
 
As a team, SBU went 17-60 (28.3%) from the field and 5-18 (27.8%) from beyond the arc. Kyleigh Vaught led the way for the team scoring 13 points with Kelsey Blakemore behind her with 8 points. Nyah Pettus had a team high rebounds of 8 to go along with four points.
 
"We shot the ball at lot better at their place, you're not going to win a lot of games shooting 28% from the field, 27% from three and 56% from the free throw line, that was trouble for us. Give them a lot of credit, their defensive intensity just took us out of the flow, the press gave us turnovers early and didn't allow us to get into our offense and that hurt us," -Head Coach Kelsey Keizer.
 
The Bearcats will be back in action Thursday February 17^th as they travel to Springfield, Illinois to take on the Prairie Stars of Illinois-Springfield. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
