Bolivar, Mo- The SBU Men's Basketball team hosted the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles this afternoon. The Bearcats won the first matchup at their place earlier in the season and completed the sweep today with an 82-71 victory! This extends their winning streak to 6 and moves the Bearcats to 18-4 (12-3) on the season.

"I thought our guys did a really good job in the second half on the glass and defensively. It was a fun atmosphere, and we are proud of the effort against a really good opponent today. Hopefully this will give us some confidence coming down the stretch," -Head Coach

The Bearcats saw contributions from every player on the court today with four players hitting double digits and two just below. Freshman
Drew McMillin went a perfect 3-3 from beyond the arc and was 1 point shy of his career high with 14 points.
Mitch Ganote led the way in that category with 19.
Quinn Nelson and
RJ Crawford also each contributed 15 points.

Bearcats won all three games week due to contributions from everyone but none more that Senior
Quinn Nelson. He finished the week off with 60 points, shooting 61% from the field and 55% from beyond the arc, also a perfect 11-11 from the charity stripe. Nelson also had 14 assists on the week, 7 from today.

SBU will look to continue their winning streak on Thursday February 17
th as they travel to Illinois-Springfield to take on the Prairie Stars. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
