Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team hosts conference foe in Truman State Bulldogs this afternoon. These two rivaled programs have been battling for the top of the GLVC over the last few years, with last year going to the Bearcats. SBU has won seven straight home games against the Bulldogs and will look to continue that today at 3:00 PM.

Clark Sheehy said, "Truman has had such a good run of seasons with making the NCAA tournament the last three years, we will have to play and compete at a high level."
The Bearcats are off to one of their stronger starts over the last 10 years with a current 6-2 record. They spent two weeks in the NABC top 25 ranking, but after a 1-2 week they dropped to just receiving votes.
