Bolivar, Mo. – The SBU women's basketball team returns to action tomorrow afternoon as they play host to Hannibal-LaGrange University. The game will take place in the Meyer Sports Center with a scheduled tipoff of 1:00 PM.
Before the break, the Bearcats went on their first two game winning streak of the season defeating Missouri Baptist and GLVC powerhouse Truman State. Their defense shined in those games allowing an average 53 points per game. On the season, they are holding their opponents to 63.2 PPG and 39% from the field, 2
nd in the GLVC. Junior Tori Hamilton is 5
th in the GLVC in blocks per game averaging 1.1 and sophomore
Kelsey Blakemore is 4
th in steals per game averaging 2.3.
This is the fifth overall matchup between the Trojans and SBU with the Bearcats winning all four prior. They last met just over a year ago where the Bearcats won decisively 100-47.
