Lebanon, Ill. – The SBU men's basketball team took on McKendree University in the battle of the Bearcats this afternoon. An impressive second half shooting over 55% from the field led SBU to a 79-66 win. That win moves them to 6-2 (2-2 GLVC) on the season.

RJ Crawford led the team in scoring with 19 points going 8 of 12 from the field and knocking down three 3-pointers. He tagged along five rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Freshman
Drenin Dinkins had the second highest scoring game of his career with 15 points going 4 of 9 from the field, while having a game high three steals. Senior
Mitch Ganote was everywhere with a double-double and a near triple-double. He had 10 points, 11 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals.
"It was a great team win." Ganote said, "McKendree is a very good team, and they are talented. I'm proud of how our guys stayed positive after 2 hard fought losses. Now we have to get back to work and get better."
Southwest Baptist will return to action a week from today as they play host to the Truman State Bulldogs. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
