Pittsburg, Kansas – The SBU women's track and field team began their indoor season today at the Cream and Gold Invitational. 12 Bearcat women competed in this meet in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Sophomore
Collinique Farrington continued her dominance from last season taking 1
st place in both races she competed in. In the 400-meter dash, she hit a National qualifying mark and had a new meet record with a time of 54.90. Farrington also hit a National qualifying mark in the 200-meter dash with a time of 24.46.
Lainy Williams,
Brocklyn Barber, and
Alexis Barber all placed in the top-10 in the mile at 3
rd, 7
th, and 8
th respectively.
The Bearcats will be back in action after the new year as they will compete at the UCM invite on January 20
th.
