Box Score St. Louis, Mo. – The SBU men's basketball team traveled to Maryville University this evening. A back-and-forth game ended in the favor of the Saints as the Bearcats fell 74-81. That moves the Bearcats to 5-2 (1-2 GLVC) on the season.
 
There were 18 lead changes and 8 ties throughout the game, but the Saints got hot at the end knocking down 7 of their last 8, 3-pointers. Quinn Nelson had a game high 26 points going 5-11 from beyond the arc and a perfect 7-7 from the charity stripe.
 
The Bearcats will be back in action this Saturday as they travel East to take on the McKendree Bearcats. Tipoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
