Indianapolis, Ind. – The SBU football team had 20 members named to the All-GLVC Team as announced by the conference office this afternoon. The Bearcats received the 2
nd most All-Conference honorees across all seven GLVC teams, also the most conference honorees since 2016.
Four Bearcats were named to the All-GLVC first team. Junior offensive lineman
Dami Oyesanya received his first All-GLVC 1
st team award after two years of being named to the 2
nd team and honorable mention. Senior wide receiver
Curtis Cuillard received his second All-GLVC 1
st team award after being 5
th in the GLVC in receiving yards. Senior linebacker
Coleton Smith received All-GLVC 1
st team for the first time in his career after leading the team with 93 total tackles. Also receiving 1
st team is junior defensive back
Brenden Smith who averaged 5.6 tackles per game.
Numerous Bearcats were named to the All-GLVC 2nd team. On the offensive side of the ball was senior quarterback
Cooper Callis, junior running back
Abel Carter, freshman offensive lineman Will Bressi, and sophomore wide receiver
Jordan Kent. Defensively, freshman defensive lineman Josh Koranda and sophomore defensive back
Jeran Seabolt were also named All-GLVC 2
nd team. Sophomore kicker
Logan Turner led the entire GLVC in field goals earning himself a 2
nd team award. Senior
Preston Carson was the only Bearcat to earn two awards at two different positions, where he was named 2
nd team for long snapping and honorable mention for wide receiver.
Others receiving honorable mention include, freshman defensive back Matt Lockard, senior linebacker
Bryton Lewi, graduate defensive lineman
Ryan Skeens, junior defensive lineman
Killian Carper, junior wide receiver Kylan Herrera, senior offensive lineman
Chase Barthlett, and freshman offensive lineman Cody Brackeen.
