Rolla, Mo. – The SBU football team finished up their regular season this afternoon as they took on the Missouri S&T Miners. The Bearcats finished strong defeating the Miners 24-17. The end the season 6-5 (4-2 GLVC) on the season.
"Couldn't be more proud of our guys and how they finished this season. We kept getting better as the season went on and have a lot to carry us into this offseason." Head Coach

Abel Carter had another great game for the Bearcats with 164 total yards of offense. He ran 130 total yards and had a 34-yard touchdown reception. Senior
Cooper Callis had 192 passing yards finishing his career 7,727 passing yards in his three years as a Bearcat. He holds SBU records in pass completion percentage and passing yards per game.
The Bearcats cap off their best season since their conference championship in 2016 with their record of 6-5. They also ended on a three game win streak, which is their longest since 2016.
"I was happy our seniors got to send us into the offseason on a three game win streak." Clardy said, "they've invested a lot of time and energy into our program and culture and have left the program in a great place. First winning season since 2016 is a lot to be proud."
