Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist University Head Softball Coach
Carly Thomas has announced the addition of Volunteer Assistant
Aaron Brisley to the coaching staff for the 2021-22 season. Brisley has been involved with girls fastpitch softball since 2009. Most recently, Brisley comes from Prospects Elite, a local organization he has been involved with for the previous 8 years. He also spent time as the Assistant National Director at Stars and Stripes Softball out of South Carolina, coaching and running 5 national teams across the country and coordinating their own event in Orlando, FL which included a week long camp and tournament. In addition, Brisley also brings NCAA experience, serving as an assistant coach at NCAA DIII Westminster College located in Fulton, MO.
"We're really excited to have Aaron joining the coaching staff," said Head Coach
Carly Thomas. "He brings a lot of high-level experience and passion for the game. He'll work primarily with our bullpen focusing on developing our pitchers and catchers. He will also be instrumental in our regional recruiting moving forward. Aaron adds a lot of value to our coaching staff, and we are so fortunate to invite him aboard here at SBU!"
