Bolivar, Mo. –  Chad Kerr has informed Southwest Baptist University Director of Athletics Mike Pitts of his resignation as Head Softball Coach after one season at the helm. 

"I met with Coach Kerr today and he offered his resignation, which I accepted," said SBU Director of Athletics, Mike Pitts. "I appreciate his passion for the game of softball and certainly wish him the best going forward in his career."

Southwest Baptist University Athletics will begin a search shortly to fill the Head Softball Coach position. More information on that will be released soon.
