Kearney, Neb. - Nebraska Kearney hosted the Loper Twilight #2 on Sunday to wrap up the regular season for SBU Track & Field. The 2021 season will conclude with the national championships held in Allendale, MI from May 27-29.
 
Only a handful of Bearcats were competing on Sunday. The highest SBU finish of the day came from Meleah Ridenour, taking 2^nd place in the triple jump with a distance of 12.12 meters. Tamia Rayford, Jazmin Ray, and Britney Clark all brought home 3^rd place finishes as well. Three provisional marks were hit on the day, only one was a seasonal best. Tamia Rayford's long jump of 5.89 meters puts her 30^th in the nation and qualifies her provisionally for nationals.
 
Selections for the 2021 National Championships will likely be announced next week.
