Box Score Quincy, Ill. – The Bearcats came up just short in a battle against the Hawks that resulted in a 3-0 Hawks victory. This makes the Bearcats record 3-7-1 for the season and in the conference.
 
Southwest Baptist started the match off with the ball and quickly got it into Hawks' territory but couldn't capitalize. The Hawks scored two goals in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into halftime. Quincy would get another one in the second half to finish off the match. Francisco Gonzalez led the Bearcats with 3 shots and one of those shots forcing the goalie to make a save. Joshua Gerdiman came on as a sub to contribute 2 shots as well. Will vanHoornbeek was active in goal with 8 saves for the match as well.
 
Southwest Baptist is back in action on Sunday when they travel to Truman State before coming home for the last game of the season against William Jewell.
