Bolivar, Mo. – Southwest Baptist took the lead early but couldn't hold on against the Cardinals in a 2-1 loss on senior day. This finishes the Bearcats season with a 0-13-1 record.
 
The Bearcats started with the ball and gave both Samantha Crawford and Sam Heustis, who were unable to play due to injuries and are seniors, the opportunity to step foot on the field one last time as starters. Southwest Baptist started on the attack quickly when a corner kick was awarded to them two minutes into the game and Mallory Smith got a shot that went wide. The Bearcats were awarded a corner with 3 minutes remaining in the first half and Lexi Lanzafame was able to finish it off to give SBU a 1-0 lead into halftime. William Jewell would score their second goal late to pull ahead and get the win. Senior Ashlyn Gibbs finished her Bearcats career off on a high note with 13 saves. Lexi Lanzafame led the Bearcats in shots with 2 while also scoring the lone Bearcat goal.
