St. Charles, Mo. – Southwest Baptist battled hard against nationally ranked Lindenwood but came up just short in the end with a 2-0 loss. The Bearcats now hold a 0-4-1 (0-4-1 GLVC) for the season.
The Bearcats started off with the ball to begin the game but Lindenwood would score first in the 9
th minute. SBU would hold Lindenwood scoreless for the next 76 minutes but a late goal would seal the game.
Raegan Edwards had one shot and the only shot on goal for the Bearcats.
Ashlyn Gibbs had 7 saves on 21 shots faced.
Southwest Baptist will be back in action on March 19 when they host Missouri-St. Louis.
