Bolivar, Mo. - The last of the Bearcats three-game homestand is set up for William Jewell to come to town. SBU will look to keep the Cardinals struggling offense in check.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
In their first year as full-time members of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, the SBU Women's Basketball team finished 15-13 (9-11 GLVC) on the year. The GLVC allows just 8 teams to make the conference tournament. Finishing 10th out of 16 teams in the GLVC, the Bearcats narrowly missed the conference tournament for the second straight year.

The Bearcats are being led by the trio of senior's Kyleigh Vaught, Sydney Bandy, and Regan Tibbits with a combined 34.5 points per game between them. SBU as a team is averaging 6.8 three pointers per game on an impressive 32.7% shooting. The Bearcats are also leading the GLVC in free throw percentage with a 80.4% mark along with currently being 6th in the conference in blocked shots with 2.7 per game.

SCOUTING THE INDIANAPOLIS GREYHOUNDS
Senior Kiara Bradley is the standout for the Cardinals, carrying them with a 21.3 PPG mark and 8.9 rebounds per game. Along with Bradley the Cardinals have 6 other seniors that help to lead the team. Sophomore Ainsley Tolson and senior Sydney Offield run the point guard position well for the Cardinals and have contributed for a combined 52 assists through the first 8 games. As a team the Cardinals have struggled offensively thus far with 61.5 points per game on a less than stellar 37.2% field goal percentage.

THE COACHES
SBU head coach Kelsey Keizer begins her seventh season on the SBU bench after compiling a 81-90 (44-74 conf.) record while at SBU. Coach Keizer led two Bearcats to All-GLVC honors last season, and fell just short of the conference tournament as the GLVC takes only 8 teams to the postseason tournament.

Jill Slominski is entering her 25th season with William Jewell. Slominski has compiled a 442-310 all time record with the Cardinals. During her tenure she has had 20+ win seasons 9 different times along with coaching 8 seperate All-Americans.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Southwest Baptist leads the series 13-7 tracing back to both school's NAIA days. The Cardinals took the matchup earlier this year 55-63.
