From Dunbar HS in Baltimore ... Played basketball for SBU for two seasons in 1989-91... All-MIAA First Team in 1989-90 and 1990-91… MIAA MVP in 1991 ... Bearcats reached Elite Eight in Springfield, Massachusetts his senior year ... Ranks seventh in all-time career assists with 319 ... Holds SBU single-game records with 17 free throws in 20 attempts vs. Washburn … Ranks second in SBU single-season assist records with 208 in 1990-91, a total which led the MIAA (6.5 per game) ... Tied for second in SBU single season records in free throws made with 155 in 1990-91 … Selected in 1991 CBA Draft by Wichita Falls … Played for several years in CBA and USBL … Had several NBA tryouts and short preseason stints with clubs including Portland, Denver and Washington.
