THE COACHES
SBU head coach
Kelsey Keizer begins her sixth season on the SBU bench after compiling a 66-76 (35-63 MIAA) record while at SBU. Coach Keizer led two Bearcats to All-MIAA honors last season, and fell just short of the conference tournament as SBU lost the head-to-head against the #10 seeded MSSU earlier in the season.
Katie Falco is entering her 2nd season on the Lindenwood bench. Last year, Falco led the Lions to a 21-8 (14-5 MIAA) record, LWU's most in the NCAA. Prior to LWU, Falco spent 10 seasons as an assistant at NCAA Division I South Dakota State.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series 8-5, 4-3 in Coach Keizer's time. Last season, SBU upset the #25 ranked Lions 87-73 and later fell 66-70 in the final game of the season.
