Bolivar Mo. – The Bearcats continued their home opening weekend with another non-conference match, taking on Southern Nazarene. The Crimson Storm squeezed out a narrow 4-3 win, moving the Bearcats to 0-2 to begin the season.
Southern Nazarene struck once with just under 5 minutes remaining in the first half, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead at halftime. Just under two minutes into the second half,
Isaiah Waddy sent one in the back of the net to even the score at 1-1. The Crimson Storm answered with 3 goals, building their lead to 4-1.

Isaiah Waddy both scored late in the second half, bringing the game within one, but time ran out with the score reading 4-3 in favor of the visitors.
Will vanHoornbeek stayed busy in the goal, making 9 saves on the night.
The Bearcats will be back in action on Friday, September 13 at 5 PM as they host their highway 13 rivals, the Drury Panthers.
